Who We Are
Hello and welcome! My name is Alex Wrabl, and I am the founder of AYW Jewelry! In 2019, I discovered jewelry fabrication, and after doing some more research, I fell madly in love with all aspects of jewelry. I watched videos, read books, and practiced with various materials to get the idea of fabrication. In late 2020, I took some classes at the Baltimore Jewelry Center (BJC), and then in 2023, went on to study Jewelry Design at Fashion Institute of Technology! In between, I worked customer service for a few months at Smyth Jewelers in Timonium, MD.
Through these processes, I developed a passion for hard work, an expert eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring quality customer service. It is my direct goal to make sure everyone who shops at AYW Jewelry has nothing but good things to say.
What We Are
AYW Jewelry began as a small side hustle selling simple stamped bracelets to high school classmates. Starting from chains made from solder for computer hardware, and gems broken off from geodes, the brand has slowly but surely moved towards what we know as fine, fashion, and high jewelry.
Our goal is to have to most seamless and stress-free jewelry-buying experience. From design to fabrication to holding the piece yourself, we will inform you of all steps of the process, and any complications that may arise. We hope our one-of-a-kind style leaves your awe-struck and most of all, satisfied.
